It's easy to talk about how to get into training, but what you can expect along the way and the journey that someone else has made to get to the end is priceless.
Here is the experience of Dr. Shuja Ali Syed, Consultant in Emergency Medicine, at Scunthorpe General Hospital. He talks about coming from Pakistan to become a junior doctor in the NHS and then finding his passion to pursue work and training in A&E. He also discusses the things he had to adapt to, and the ways he adjusted to his new life. With it, he's given sage advice for those who may wish to follow in his footsteps.
